See and be seen at the most stylish event of the year! Sakhi Saaj bring the catwalk to Nashik, providing a VIP fashion week experience to the most influential college fashionistas. Get pampered at our fashion show-meets-designers, have fun, and leave with a goody bag full of swag and stylegoals for days. What’s not to love? The beautiful and eye-catching colors of creativity were seen on the dresses presented by the students of the DIDT. Sakhi Saaj organized by Lokmat Sakhi Manch was held on 17th February 2020 at Indraprastha Hall, Nashik. A huge crowd of women got to see the fashion show and women attended the show with the same enthusiasm.
The celebrity guest for the show was Devdatta Nage, a marathi actor. He gained fame from his role as Lord Khandoba in the serial Jai Malhar which was aired on zee Marathi.
Devdatta Nage, who shot to fame with ‘Jai Malhar‘ is known for his performance as Khandoba, is gearing up for his upcoming daily soap ‘Dr. Don’ which is set to premiere soon. Devdatta, who, will be seen in a different avatar in the light-hearted comedy drama.
The students of fashion technology department showcased their creativity on the ramp. Some students designed the Avant grade collection, some defined the Party mood and some described the beauty of Marathi culture nauvari saree draping’s adorned with various vibrant colors. The atmosphere of the fashion show became more pleasing with soothing colors presented on the ramp.
The fashion show was divided into various segments and in each segment the audience and the judges were able to explore a new form of innovation. Creative designers from the DIDT showcased their lines at the runway show and they sold their lines at the retail events throughout the week.
The creativity of the students was much appreciated by the judges and the faculty members as the models walked over the ramp with much grace and confidence. Visitors enjoyed the sophistication and luxury of the desert as they indulge their inner fashionista at this premier, state-of-the-art experience that celebrated the newest collections of the city’s most prominent influencers and innovators – DIDT.
