With a vision is to create an environment where tradition and luxury are brought onto a single platform enabling an inflection point that creates exquisite pieces of art while defining trends in Luxury Fashion, an event of glitz and glamour in Nashik, Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj is among the big fashion events around the region. It was scheduled in the month of December 2019 on 26 and 27. Needless to say this event too is attended by the who’s who of the fashion fraternity with the top notch names of the city showering their appreciations on the designers. It was organized and planned by MLA Seema Hirey.
This year, DIDT showcased some of the exceptional designs in this event which grabbed the attention of every spectator and became the talk of the town. The intent of the event is to also showcase the traditional and cultural fashion which in history was always over shadowed by the western fashion which was precisely accomplished by DIDT.
A robust fashion platform, Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj is focused on showcasing outstanding GenNext talent and luxury brands to a distinguished target audience. It is rated as one of the biggest fashion extravaganzas of region featuring the best designers and the crème-de-la-crème of the society in full attendance.
Having started off as a conventional event, Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj has over the time successfully transformed into one of city’s leading Luxury Fashion Show. While the first season of Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj have focused on establishing Nashik firmly onto the fashion map of India and providing a platform for GenNext designers and Luxury, this season had Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj broaden its horizons to truly capture the essence of Bharat and its interplay with the World Fashion and trends.
Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj is one such establishment that brings together well-known National as well as Domestic Designers who are institutions by themselves and are profusely talented emerging names that need a sought-after platform, celebrities that endorse innovation in Luxury and Fashion- An array of Industry specialists, Indispensable stakeholders and the curiously fashionable end-users that make PFW a success story. Going forward, Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj envisions to grow further with seasons each year in line with global platforms through the introduction of new ideas.
A first step in this direction is being reflected in the way we had structured Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj Season this year. While the core strengths of Khandeshi Baaj Ahirani Saaj will remain, we shall be introducing a significantly expanded market component as well as segments on Designers on the one hand and designer focused on traditional Fashion and textiles on the other hand – said the organizers.
